Hot Diggity Dog - It's Your Birthday

From this image

I created this birthday card:

Using copic markers, I colored the Dog in shades of brown, and eyes with blue from Stampin! Up; and the nose with Black Distressed Marker and than applied glossy accents to his nose for a wet look.  The sentiment from Internet/Google search and applied flat buttons/beads to the corners of the mat, sentiment tag and card corner.

I first print and cut the card base with my Silhouette Studio DE.  Actually the sentiment (front and inside go together, I just ungrouped it in my software so I can print separately.)

Thank you for visiting with me today, and happy crafting this last weekend of May.

Creative Kuts Choo Choo Train - Zoo Layout

This page was some what difficult to create - the tree and bushes was like putting a puzzle together. LOL  The animals was print and cut, using my Silhouette Studio Design Edition (Cricut Explore Design Space claimed the elephant was too big for the page! )  I used design paper that I purchased from Scrapbook.com.

Zoo, Page 2

The Zoo animals border and stone wall from the SilhouetteAmerica Design Store; and monkey and little lion from Creative Kuts  Photos edited in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today, and may you all have a super crafting day where you are at.

April-May Card Kit (combined)

Good morning, this is going to be a busy blog day as I have several blogs to write and scheduled for May 2nd which is also National Scrapbook Day (NSD)  So on to my card that I used the Tea-rrific Stamp Set...

Supplies used:
  1. Stamp set from Hot Off the Press called You're Tea-rrific which I used my MISTI (i.e. the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented) and it is what is named a incredible stamping tool.  Aligns the stamp and sentiment right right where you would like it place and if not stamped clearly first time around, you can re-stamp as many times as you like to get the coverage you desire. (enough of the sales pitch!!)
  2. Coloring with Stampin! Up Ink markers and Stazon Black used.
  3. Gemstones from my stash
  4. Ribbon from my Stampin! Up stash created with my Bow Maker.
  5. The Shadow Box Scalloped Card from Creative Kuts
  6. Design paper from stash of paper pads
Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today; and when you have a free moment, head over to our The Scrapbook Blessings Club fan page and play along in the NSD activities today.  Blessings to all, and happy crafting to you all.

A Small Mother's Day Card

National Scrapbook Day - May 2nd

Tomorrow, May 2nd is considered National Scrapbook Day across the crafting community, and I would like to share a 2-page layout that I just finished for Creative Kuts ChooChoo Train using theme Spring Time.

The Girl with water hose, butterflies, Spring Time title and May; and white daisies from the Spring Time kit from Creative Kuts.  The cut file "Flower Bed"  a free file from Scrappy Dew.

Girl with Water Hose is print than cut using Cricut Explore Design Space.  It cuts out neater than the Silhouette Cameo Studio DE - no white edges to trim off like the Studio DE has!  Butterflies are also print than cut - easier to cut around the smaller pieces of the item.

Since I did not have gray paper in my stash, I used a yellowish colored card stock, layered with the top stone, and than placed taller grass in front  I believe the grass file is from the online library for Make the Cut software.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today, and hope you Friday is filled full of happy crafting

Christmas Card - Vintage Challenge

Our Christmas card theme for May is Vintage and with a Internet-Google search I found several vintage Christmas Card images and chose this one for my first card of the month....

I cut a scalloped edge (on just 3 edges) to use as a mat for the image.  I print and cut the image with my Silhouette Cameo Studio DE and placed a ribbon grosgrain ribbon near the right edge.  Once adhered to the mat and card base, I created a bow the easy way.  Nice and quick card to send out to friends or family for this Christmas year.

Thank you for taking time to visit with me today; and please visit Christmas Cards All Year 'Round for more inspiration.  Blessings to all, and happy crafting.
