This is a card I finished this afternoon....using colored Prisma pencils and mineral spirits (I don't have Gamasol) to color in the Funky Chicken (actually the way I colored it, it's a Funky Bluebird). I printed the bird and than using my Cricut cut around the bird and u can see that the bird legs and feet...well they're barely there :-)
Added a ribbon on the side. The oval mats an idea from StampTV but I used my Cricut to cut the oval mats...do not own a oval nest abilities...yet. I am planning to use the oval mat idea for a baby card that will be included with a baby gift for my niece's baby girl's gift that I am working on.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting...hugs to all.
I have a store at Smart Buy Gal and will be listing/uploading my inventory on a daily basis or when I can get something finish. I have a page here on my blog showing the beginning of my inventory, and will add to that as well.
Plus I have a store at Cut and Create where I will list my inventory for those who shop there.
My store with Die Cut Designer will be closed for personal reasons.
As with the Letter M... I decided to go with two different images simply because I just couldn't come up with a unique image for the Letter N. The nail can be used in decorating a page with a construction of a new home theme. Number 9...a birthday card for a nine year old.
Now to go make supper and than I will work up a Easter file as a extra posting because of being late with this posting. Thank you for visiting and hugs to all.
I apologize that I am late in posting my next Letter in the Alphabet Series...I am working on it...but King Art is really causing me pain today...why I don't know, but I am in tears. I wish he would visit the knees, hands, anywhere else but the back. I'm seeing the dr Friday morning as I am concerned about gallbladder...never had the problem but reading about gallbladder and cholesterol and the side affects of Lipitor, I am not taking any chances. So....once the aspirin kicks in, I will work on the file later this afternoon. Thank you for understanding.
Also I am hoping to finish this Alphabet Series project within the next week or so...b/c... my son and family will be visiting us for two weeks...from March 24 thru April 5th. April 8th they will be flying to Korea where he will finish up his Army duties. I will be spending all the time I can with my family as for visiting them in Korea...no can do!! There is a possibility that I can squeak in a free file or two while they're here, but I am not guarantee-ing anything ....
Hugs to all, and later this afternoon with the free file.
Happy Monday morning to you all....I am here with the Letter M-4-Marbles or Mangos....the bag of Marbles have a few more pieces and decided to include a simple fruit with less pieces to work, and give u all a little variety. Either can be used for cards, scrapbook page or the Mangos could be cut out using vinyl to decorate with...
Click on the blue link for the download and, as always, for your personal use.
I apologize for the tardiness of this posting, but it's been a stressful morning with having to reschedule a appt this morning to another day due to 'pea soup' fog which I will not drive in. And than speaking with my son about his traveling plans for Korea...it will stress me out as I will not see him or family for two years plus.
Thank you for stopping by, staying with me, and hugs and blessings to all.
I have been busy working up free files for you all today...and should be working on uploading the files to Cut and Create but worked on free files instead. Here is a title for your scrapbook page...or if you re-size it you could use for the front of a card.
Today is a day we're expecting sleet...hummm... that could mean ice everywhere! Or we get nothing. Oh well, I will stay in the house and stay warm and safe...tomorrow, I believe it warms up so it all melts...winter weather here Alabama does not last very long. I can hear a lot of you sighing with relief at that...
Thank you for stopping by and now to add another post. Hugs and blessings to all.
Another card for the SWAP at The Brakefast Club Forum....
The image is a PNC using SCAL. I played around with scalloping and created the scalloped square on Make the Cut using a rectangle and the 'D" from the Shapes Library and like the results. I was going to frame the image within the scalloped square, but image was wrong and did not want to redo it ... :-P The hearts border I used my Cricut to cut out...once again using Make the Cut to create using rectangle and the hearts from the shapes library.
I stamped the sentiments in Versamark, and used white embossing powder (don't do what I did...heat the embossing powder after the ribbon is attached...ribbon melted and there's hole where the bow is tied over) and I did not remove left-over powder on the card so I inserted a red brad where I tried to erase the powder.
Inside of the card, I cut out a square in the same color as the second layer on front. This is where the message would be written; and I cut out the Hearts border, used my new Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper from We R Memory Keepers..... Cloud/Scallop Corner. This is a new toy of mine that I found at the local Unclaimed Baggage here in Scottsboro....sometimes I can find great buys!!
Here is the free file for today, and quite possibly my last Valentine file to share...have to go on to the birthday cards for my brother-in-law (60) and my niece (24)....
Zip files include svg, mtc, scut2 and scut3 for your personal use only.
Gardening puts me in mind of spring and working outside planting tomatoes, flowers , and warm temperatures, even though our winter has been extremely warm...except for this coming week...cold temps and may-be some snow flurries. Yippie....
I worked this up for a swap up at the The BrakeFast Club Forum ... and re-read the instructions. I may have to redo the whole format, but this one is finished to send to someone.... that is loved....
Oh well, I had fun creating it and learn something...I will be staying with Stampin! Up markers or markers from Close to My Heart. And I have to figure out how to blend w/out messing the coloring up...u know how paper, getting overly wet, will pill...well the dress and shoes have this issue.
Thank you for coming by to see what I have done. Hugs and blessings to all.
To keep myself busy and not think about or be worried about my son and family as they're leaving for Korea in less than 60 days for 2 yrs of duty with the U.S. Army. I will miss them terribly, and I realize that their oldest daughter, Alexis will be 13 yrs old when they come home. And Kassidy will be 10 yrs old...and me...I'll be an old lady and hopefully in good health.
Anyhoo...to beat the depression I worked up a 3-pc Scrapbook page that is available in jpeg and png format. Just download and resize to your needed specifications and you will have a colorful page for your scrapbook or decorative mat for a card.
I promise you, Wednesdays' Letter Ee will not be a baby theme!! Oops, I did not proof-read very well last evening...yesterday was a stressful day, and hopefully today will not be as bad...taking someone to appts can be stressful....
Thank you for visiting with me today, and hugs to all.
So........ who watch the Superbowl...NOT ME. Me personally, not a sports fan...but I have family who watch and/or participate in sports and if I was home, I would prolly watch them play, especially football, basketball but wrestling...no way...way to dangerous...grandson broke a arm in a meet and than when he got cleared to play, the opponent decided to pull on the healed arm...thankfully Dad pulled him out of the meet ....
Anyhoooooooo. enough of the rant about sports! Here is another file in the Alphabet Series to share with you...
I'm not sure yet what D will be...either a diaper and diaper pin, or something else entirely..
Thank you for stopping by and soon will be counting down 'til I see my son and family. They hopefully will be coming down this way on leave before they all head for Korea for 2 years. Can't wait to see my granddaughters....
Click on the link for the download which includes zip file for svg, mtc, scut2 and scut3 format, and the file is for your personal use only.
I will be back Monday morning with Letter C...stop by and grab the file at that time. Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all. And for those who enjoy football, may your team win the Super Bowl this coming Sunday. Me...I'll be watching a movie or reading...:-)
Good morning...I have revised the Alphabet Series for my free file sharing...the original one does not seem to be a popular file for downloading, so revised it to include images. Just trial and error for me...working up what my followers would like...sometimes I bomb, sometimes I work up a winner. Also will stay with basic packaging ... nothing fancy anymore.
Click on the link for the zip file which will include svg, mtc, scut2 and scut3 for your personal use only. This set includes: image of apple ... plain and another one with dashes on the edge. Two As with the same type of design.
Thank you for stopping by, and visiting with me today. Hugs to all.
