Good evening all... I am sharing a Lacy Edge Card, both in svg, scut2 and MTC format.  I am going on vacation Tuesday and will not be back until August, spending a month with my daughter-in-law and granddaughters.  Than back to Alabama in August to prepare for the Art in the Park Craft event which I am submitting Raggedy Ann dolls, quilts and cards I have made.

This is a new svg cut and don't really know how will come out.  Since I have the Cricut Personal machine which does not cut cards very well, but will test it.  I named the card design candy corn card .. looks like the candy corn that we eat.  Lol.  Also has scalloped edges.

Good morning.... I will be MIA for a month from posting.... I'm flying to Kansas City, MO where my daughter-in-law and two girls will be meeting me, taking me back to Fort Riley,  Kansas where they have been living for the past 3 plus years.  My son is in the U.S. Army, deployed to Iraq for his 2nd tour.  I apologize for the inconvenience but I would like to be able to spend time with family.... plus I will not be taking my own laptop along.  Will be using my DIL's for the duration of the stay.  Thank you for following my blog, and will see you all in August.

I am presently working on a Spongebob Squarepants b-day card for a little boy who loves the character.  I'm not all that happy with the card but will make do... I had worked on a different style and was not happy and couldn't ungroup it in Inkscape, so I change the style a little.... now I  just have to gel pen the face on yellow cardstock,  gel pen a circle, cut out the number 2 and insert a verse and create the envelope.  I will post here as soon as I am finished.

To my followers:

I am going to re-vamp my blog, moving some of the personal files to another blog I have, and using this one, Granny Ma, strictly for my blog to share my svg cuts, digitals, etc.

A lot of the files you see on this blog, now, are files saved from other websites for my personal use, such as the calendar.  That is not my creation.... I copied it from StampTV so I would not lose the instructions for later use, such as Christmas gifts.  I felt, that with copying these instructions from another blog, I would not have to do a search for them later when I wanted to use the file for a project I am working on.  I apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this has caused to my followers.

At the time I started submitting my work, I didn't think about the confusion it would cause when people viewed my blog, and seen the work there and thought it was mine.  And I didn't believe I would have followers on my blog which really makes me happy that u are following.

Again I apologize for this confusion.  This revamping of blog will be a work in progress.... I am working on dolls and quilts for a craft show over Labor Day weekend, and will be gone the whole month of July visiting my daughter-in-law and girls .... their daddy's in Iraq for his 2nd tour.

Thank you.  {{hugs}}

I removed the Chloe with phone as there didn't seem to be very many viewers or downloads on it.  I will work on another svg cut soon.  Thank you.
Thank you each and everyone of the followers that has left comments on my blog .  It warms my heart that you all like my freebies.  I started out with this as a 'lark' because everybody was/is doing this, why can't I do it.  I was surprised with the following I have and really appreciate you all.  Thank you.

This is my digital to share for today/tonight.  Sorry it is so late in being posted .. long and hot day in Alabama.  This svg file can be used with the Cri-Kit Gel Pens.  I'm also including the .jpeg file for downloading for those who wish to print out with their printer.

I decided to re-post the Butterfly and Iris as a digital to be shared.  Crafters may prefer to print out on their printer rather than use their Cricut or do not have the Cricut Gel Pens.  I will post/share both ways, when possible, from now on.

Another digital of Butterfly and flower to share with you.

Here is a digital to print out on cardstock w/out using Cricut (I will test it on Cricut b/4 I post it ... just didn't look correct.)

Saturday, June 12, 2010

I am working on a file to share later today or, at least, by Monday.  Need some more tweaking and testing it out b/4 I download/upload.  You all have a wonderful day.

I took the plunge and created a svg and scut2 file for your use and I have tested it and cuts out great!  First is the picture of a squiggle frame that I first imported from Funtime Scrapbook to Inkscape where I converted it into a svg file... (thanks to Penny Duncan and her video on converting a wpc file to svg).  Here is the file for your personal use (and hopefully the power doesn't flicker off again!)

As soon as I complete the card using my Cri-Kit Gel Pen design I will post to this blog.  And I love these new blog layouts.  I am also creating a easel card using the same design.

You can see that I am a beginner at this.... even blogging this is a work in progress. This is a file I converted to a .svg file which I will use on my Cricut Personal Cutter, using my Cri-Kit Gel Pens. I like butterfly themes and use them alot in my cards.... if I could find away to use on my Christmas cards, I would.... lol. :-)

Enjoy.

My first attempt at digital images and posting them.  Right at this moment I cannot remember my steps in creating this file and will have to recreate the steps again.  But this is for personal use only... for your cards, crafts or scrapbooks.  I am an amateur at this and still learning my way around.  Thank you for looking.
